Keeping Time

I used to call this guy the timekeeper/traffic director. The rumor is that he lives in Washington Square Park. Its weird how everyone sees him almost everyday, but they just kinda ignore him...

CMJ (College Music Journal) started on Tuesday in NYC. Its fucking killing me//blowing my mind.
I wish I had remembered to email this person in my Major who could have gotten me a free ($400) CMJ pass. But I stupidly forgot and a lot of my friends remembered. So now I will have to pay in order to enter most CMJ events (but they often free or cheap).
I've already missed a lot of the best concerts/events, but there are still a few left for the weekend.

I am so going to this one:
*DJ Tao Lin?!? Carles???!???

I might go to this:

But I really wanna see Atlas Sound tomorrow at 4:30 pm:

pretty chill-y

So, i think i have writers block? the only thing i can think of to write about, is this:

I just watched this video (below), it was clever. I am not really a fan of Aziz Ansari, but i love Bobby Moyniham (via SNL)!

It was filmed in Other Music, a record store that I went to recently (while in NYC--the same place where I bought Pandy Bear and Flying Lotus vinyls). I'm thinking that I might want to work there when I am at NYU. Its in walking distance, and seems real 'chill'...maybe not so much in this video, but definetly in real life!

I found this video while reading an article on Spin.com (like the magazine). I think Spin trying to be mainstream, while appealing to the 'indie' crowd. I don't know, but they are definetly a little bit behind the curve on (indie) music.

Oh and I love this post on Hipster Runoff! Its suposed to resemble Dr. Suess' "Oh, the Places You'll Go!" (if you didn't get it).
